The inspiring story of Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint

Carlo Acutis was a devout Catholic teenager who died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15.

He was a brilliant student and a talented computer programmer who used his skills to share his faith with others. Carlo was beatified by Pope Francis in 2020, and he is now considered a role model for young people all over the world.

Carlo Acutis was born in London in 1991 to Italian parents. He moved to Italy with his family when he was a young child. Carlo was a happy and loving child who was always interested in learning about his faith. He was a member of the Catholic youth group and he volunteered at his local parish.

In 2006, Carlo was diagnosed with leukemia. He died just a few months later. During his illness, Carlo showed great courage and faith. He offered his suffering up to God and he prayed for the conversion of sinners.

Carlo Acutis was a remarkable young man who lived a life of faith and service. He is a role model for all of us, especially for young people. His story reminds us that even in the face of adversity, we can always find hope and joy in God.
